Department: 35200 AMC Manitowoc County - Telemetry Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: No Hou rs Per Week: 0 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Are you detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask? Our telemetry tech/HUC monitors cardiac rhythms and supports patient care and safety. Responsibilities include tracking heart activity, assisting with admissions and discharges, and handling administrative tasks. Monthly shifts are available: 0630-1900 and 1830-0700. Pay Range: $20.80 - $31.20 Major Responsibilities: - Responsible for maintaining constant surveillance on the telemetry monitors. - Responsible for promptly notifying the Registered Nurse with any changes in the patients heart rhythm. - Records patient's heart rhythm hourly and as changes occur. - Runs telemetry strips for the Registered Nurse based on policy and procedure. - Notifies nursing staff promptly when there is an interruption in the telemetry signal. - Provides daily inventory to maintain the correct number of transmitters and lead wires. - Handles confidential information on a regular basis, usually of a medical nature (diagnosis, etc.).
