Company: Allegheny Health Network Job Description: GENERAL OVERVIEW: This job is responsible for all clinical aspects of medical physics in the Department of Radiation Oncology. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Audits and reviews patient medical charts. 30% Performs quality assurance/control evaluations on radiation producing machines. 20% Assists with special clinical research and development projects as assigned. 10% Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies and standards. 10% Advises and provides guidance to dosimetry and therapy staff and provides consultation services to attending physicians. 10% Assists with the delivery of patient care for special procedures. 10% Supervises and provides training to departmental staff in the application of physics. 10% Other duties as assigned or requested.
