Role Overview PIC, a Genus PLC company, has an exciting opportunity. We are seeking a Production Supervisor – Farrowing (Apex Farm in Mound City, SD) to support farrowing operations at one of our genetic nucleus farms. In this role, you will provide hands‑on leadership for the farrowing department while partnering closely with other supervisors and site leadership to ensure exceptional animal care, efficient production flow, and accurate data and record management within a 2,800+ head genetic nucleus sow farm. You will supervise daily farrowing operations, set priorities for the team, and coach employees to meet production goals while maintaining PIC’s standards for animal welfare, safety, biosecurity, and environmental compliance. This role requires sound judgment, strong people leadership, and the ability to solve day‑to‑day operational challenges in a fast‑paced production environment. This role is based at the APEX facility in Mound City, South Dakota. Limited travel is required approximately 5–10% based on production needs.
