Job description

Summary: This position reports to the ICT Fabricators site facility Manager, the role is responsible for ensuring the correct parts, quantities of parts, packaging of parts into bundles are safely loaded into a trailer. The role is responsible for sourcing trucks through logistics companies to ship to various locations across North America. It is also responsible for receiving incoming materials from suppliers and vendors. Shipping Responsibilities: - Arranges trucking for outgoing loads. - Responsible for meeting truckers and opening gate for loading. - Physically packages materials (including building boxes). - Pull stock inventory parts for orders as directed by Shop Foreman. - Mark job references to pulled stock materials. - Responsible for directing other employees assisting in packaging. - Preparing packing & bundle list (excel). - Send email notifications upon shipment - Responsible for notifying when packaging materials need to be reordered.
