Maintenance Supervisor

Job description

Essential Functions: This position is responsible for: - Mechanic leadership/ development - Lead Parts room personnel and ensure parts room procedures are followed - Remove daily Production obstacles - Identify root cause analysis of failures, using a fix it forever mentality - Work with Production to develop and support startup/shutdown procedures - Work with Production to define CIP tasks and align with PM tasks - Enforce work order process with Maintenance personnel - May be able to lead smaller CAPEX projects, this is lesser - Host contractors for routine repairs, specifically on production equipment - Approaching work with a Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset, and engaging in Mid Valley Mission Statement to identify, value, prioritize, resource and sustain improvement opportunities. - Owning and promoting a Safety Culture by ensuring a safe work environment and promoting safe behavior. - Effectively delegates work orders to the appropriate maintenance technician(s) to ensure thorough and timely completion. - Monitors maintenance team members’ schedules to cover plant operating requirements. - Assists with technical training of all maintenance team members. - Ensure planned ma...
