Department Overview This position supports OHSU patients with access to medications. Functions as a liaison and a point of contact for various pharmacy operations and interdisciplinary team members. Facilitate and prioritizes time sensitive duties which may include but are not limited to pharmacy program support and operational procedures. Person working this shift is responsible for ensuring accountability and accuracy of standard operations procedures in these areas. Function/Duties of Position: Perform daily activities specifically related to triage procedures or program specific procedures. - Process medication assistance requests from patients, providers, pharmacists and clinic staff. - Provide telephonic support for various programs including but not limited to Medication Assistance, Specialty Pharmacy Program and prior authorizations - Provide telephonic outreach to patients for Specialty Pharmacy Program including but not limited to program introduction, enrollment, and refill reminders - Coordinate medication delivery of manufacturer-provided assistance product o including but not limited to receiving freight, verifying FedEx delivery information and outreach to manufactur...
