Job description

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented, customer service-focused Patient Care Coordinator to join our Sleep Center Team! We need someone with a professional demeanor, who can work well under stress/stress situations, will provide excellent customer service to our patients, and is able to multitask! In this role, you are responsible for performing various medical clerical duties. Some of those duties include registration and pre-registration functions to ensure the smooth transitioning of patients through the services they require; prepare pre-registration packets appropriately for each procedure; ensure that copies of appropriate documentation are obtained to facilitate the billing and collections processes; process co-payments and payments; registered patients and update medical records; back up all incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department; perform nightly closing procedures for clinic; call patients for pre-registration notification including copays and deductibles; and other duties as assigned.
