GHD’s Americas business has an opportunity for an In-house Counsel position (United States), operating out of GHD’s Phoenix, Arizona or Houston, Texas offices. The successful applicant will join a dynamic and collaborative 20 person Americas Legal, Risk & Compliance Team and provide support to an entrepreneurial 3,500 person strong Americas business. GHD supports a hybrid work model. As part of the Legal, Risk & Compliance Team in the role of Legal Counsel, US, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties: Advising GHD's US professional engineering consulting business regarding all manner of risk allocation and risk management matters: The successful candidate will possess the following desired qualifications, experience, skills, and attributes: Law degree from an accredited law school and qualified and licensed to practice law as an in-house attorney in the state of residency; A minimum of 4 years of experience gained providing legal advice to engineers and architects, including time spent in an A/E/C firm or professional services legal department; Direct experience in commercial transactional matters; Superior drafting, analytical, organization, time mana...
