Schedule Part Time, Day shift (48 hours biweekly) Hours: Saturday and Sunday, 7:00am - 7:30pm General Summary: Performs routine diagnostic, technical and/or special radiographic procedures at a general skill level. Essential Functions: - Performs radiographic examinations, obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient concerns. - Performs diagnostic procedures in one of the following specialty areas at a beginner level: operating room procedures (includes overhead, fluoroscopic and C-arm procedures), complex portables, or trauma procedures. - Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations. - Positions and transfers patients safely and comfortably and explains basic procedure. - Immobilizes patients as necessary and practices radiation safety procedures - Properly processes images using digital technology - Evaluates recorded images for technical quality; consistently maintains a repeat rate under 6%. - Participates in and collaborates with other departments on projects to improve care and efficiency as needed.
