Atlas Roofing Shingle and Underlayment is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for Clinton, IA . Maintenance Mechanic Primary Responsibilities: - Responsible for installing, repairing, adjusting, modifying, troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance on all types of plant equipment and facility. - Responsible for following all plant and safety rules including all safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements. - Inspect, dismantle, repair, replace, install, clean and assemble as necessary to maintain equipment/buildings as necessary. - Able to communicate information to maintenance supervision and engineering to assist in analyzing equipment or for the purpose of making equipment modifications. - Perform pipe installations and repairs in various pipelines. - Interpret blueprints for equipment information and installation. - Works with maintenance supervisor to ensure a sufficient level of back up spares for all mechanical equipment. - Utilize torches, welders and burning equipment. - Maintains daily shift inspection and repair logs for review by supervision, and other plant personnel. - Support and cultivate the reliability culture. - Ability to hold peers accountabl...
