Avionics Specialist (Harnessing) Department: Manufacturing: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Redondo Beach: Reporting To: Alexander Hsing: Compensation: $110,000 - $140,000 / year Description: As an Avionics Specialist (harnessing) at Impulse, you will build and test harnessing across our vehicles used in low-earth orbit and beyond. Your work will directly impact the reliability and mission success of our Mira and Helios spacecraft. Responsibilities: - Write and maintain the company’s internal harness assembly spec. - Enable a formal certification pipeline for technicians and engineers. - Serve as the company’s standards authority for harnessing. - Stand up RF cable fabrication and testing line. - Oversee build quality and reliability of harnesses and RF cables - Provide quality assurance mentorship and training. - Establish and expand hi-pot infrastructure (has done before) - Mentorship and training of junior technicians and engineers - Build harnesses for critical or time-sensitive projects. - Help with additional areas such as PCBAs once harnessing production lines are mature Minimum Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent certificate - 8+ years of demonstrated...
