Maintenance Generalist 3rd (Night) Shift Full-Time, Magee Feed Mill (MLO)

Job description

Job Details: Starting Pay Range: $19.25-$20.90/hr plus a $1.00 shift premium Hours: 11pm - 7am Monday-Friday. Holiday & Weekend work required. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position could work in any department of the feed mill. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, twisting, climbing, pushing and pulling up to 300lb buggies, and reaching are required in all areas. Lifting is required in many areas (weight depends upon area). Working on elevated surfaces is required in some areas. This position works in a dusty, cold, damp or hot and humid environment and these areas have slippery walking surfaces. Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing. Must possess basic math and computer skills. Must enter data into handheld computer system. Must be able to use basic hand tools, operate power tools and all automated equipment, saws, sheet metal shears, drills, grinders and ladders as needed.
