Job description

The Scholarly Initiatives Law Librarian provides specialized law research and reference services and consultation to support law students, faculty, staff, and library patrons in traditional and virtual environments. The position is responsible for evolving law library services , innovatively to be responsive to the legal research and c r oss-disciplinary needs in support of the scholarship . This is a professional librarian position without faculty status and non-tenure track. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provides both quick reference and in-depth research services using a variety of legal and non-legal resources, determin es the appropriate resources , conducts in-depth inquiries to clarify the subject, scope , and purpose of request s. - Designs, implements, integrates, and assesses library/information research and reference related aids, online tools, modules, OERs, tutorials, and other digital experiences that develop k nowledge of and expertise in library resources that enhance research and reference skills. - Provides assistance to faculty with online learning platforms , engagement support , and programs including course-integrated instruction . - Participates in...
