Salary/Position Classification: - $12.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime) - 5-15 hours per week - 100% Remote Work Availability: No - Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No Purpose of Position: Culinary Corner Instructors will deliver cooking demonstrations while emphasizing research and nutritional principles to the UND and Greater Grand Forks community in a fun and applicable way. Instructors will demonstrate healthy food choices and proper preparation methods as well as safe food handling procedures. This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position. Duties & Responsibilities: - Create and develop lesson plans for scheduled programming. - Deliver cooking demonstrations and nutrition information for scheduled programming in an entertaining and applicable manner. - Research and prepare prior to each class. - This includes but is not limited to recipe research, lesson plans, and purchasing supplies for those classes. - Set up and clean up kitchen area before and after sessions. - Supervise and instruct during special events and/or group rentals. - Act as a kitchen assistant for outside/volunteer i...
