Your Specific Responsibilities: Licensing Related Duties include: - Supervises the work of Environmental Health Specialists who perform and coordinate all activities pertaining to the inspection of childcare homes and centers and their licensure. - Assists staff with challenging issues in the field by providing support telephonically and/or in person. - Accompanies staff in the field on a regular basis to provide feedback and mentoring. - Supervises the work performed by Sr. Clerks in the licensing process. - Reviews license files, inspection reports, and supporting documentation to determine whether the licensee is in compliance with applicable laws and regulations for the issuance of temporary permit, change licenses, substantial compliance, and renewal licenses. - Recommends the issuance or denial of...
