Maintenance Technician: Monday - Friday 8am to 4:30pm

The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for the overall upkeep of residential apartments and public areas through responsive, accurate and efficient maintenance. Maintaining all aspects of the physical plant including, but not limited to, preventive maintenance, routine electrical and plumbing repairs, janitorial duties, painting and other refurbishment work, grounds work, light carpentry work, etc. under the direction of the Director of Plant Operations. Shift available: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm Starting pay is $14/hr and negotiable based on experience. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: - Performs routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and public areas including correcting electrical malfunctions, repairing and replacing plumbing fixtures, pipes and fittings, repairing and replacing light bulbs and fixtures, repairing doors and locks, and appliance repair. - Performs painting and refurbishment projects as assigned. - Assists in providing initial response for malfunction of residential/commons HVAC equipment.
