Core Insurance (Payment Integrity): Every dollar Oscar pays on a claim that contains a billing error, a coding mistake, or fraud is a dollar that doesn't go toward affordability for our members. Oscar's Payment Integrity team makes sure we pay claims accurately. Historically, this work has been heavy on friction - retrospective audits, denials, and provider disputes that create burden for everyone, including members.
