This position performs bar service activities with primary responsibility mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, serving food and beverages to patrons in a friendly and courteous manner, monitoring guest alcohol consumption, setting, stocking, and breaking down bars, maintaining accurate counts and collecting payment for all food and beverages served. Provides positive guest recognition and relations, including becoming familiar with regular patrons and VIP guests. Responds to guest questions and provides suggestions regarding food and beverages with an aggressive approach to up selling. Arranges bottles, glasses, and packaged snacks to make attractive displays. Mixes ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks to standard, and serves wine, liquor, and bottled beer to standard pour and to departmental specifications.
