Job Overview The Assistant Service Manager supports the Service Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the trailer repair service department. This role involves assisting in managing the service team, coordinating service schedules, ensuring high-quality repairs, and enhancing customer satisfaction. The Assistant Service Manager will step in to lead the department in the Service Manager's absence and work closely with technicians and customers to maintain smooth operations. Core Functions - Team Leadership & Development: Assist in supervising and mentoring service technicians and support staff, while supporting training and development initiatives to enhance team skills and performance. Provide technical guidance, assist with troubleshooting complex repairs, and ensure proper diagnostic procedures are followed. - Customer Service & Relationship Management: Act as a secondary point of contact for customers, addressing service inquiries, repair updates, and concerns.
