Boilermaker / Welder

Job description

Join our vastly diverse Northwest division, conducting boilermaking and welding duties on multiple projects around the Pilbara Region. - Various ongoing projects across the Pilbara - FIFO from Perth - National ASX listed contractor THE ROLE: - Assemble and install new supports/structural members to existing infrastructure - Inspect and identify areas in need of repair, or any malfunctions/damage - Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding procedures and project schedules - Carry out fabrication, maintenance and upgrades as required - Completion of sign off documentation as required - Prepare/complete Fabrications that comply with the client’s specification and drawings - Participate in Toolbox and safety meetings - Contribute to activities of continuous improvement - Adhere to safe work practices ABOUT YOU: - Must be able to weld to a 3G/4G procedure - Able to weld to a 6G procedure - desirable but not required - Experience in the mining industry - Australian trade certificate - Police Check (or ability to obtain one) - White card - Proactive, teamwork skills, and high safety standards THE BENEFITS: Please submit your resume today and one of our friendly recruiters will be i...
