Job description

Hiring Salary: $20 hourly Hours Per Week: 20-35: The Environmental Compliance Assistant provides support to the university's environmental compliance programs. The Environmental Compliance Assistant reports to the Safety and Compliance Manager who falls under Environmental Health and Safety. Responsibilities include assisting with administrative tasks, data management, field data collection and research related to wastewater, drinking water, and stormwater. The role helps maintain accurate environmental data and assists with compliance activities. - Assist with inspections, audits, and assessments of campus facilities to support environmental and safety compliance efforts. - Help prepare documentation, records, and reports related to inspections, training, and compliance activities. - Support the delivery of safety training, outreach, and educational materials. - Provide general assistance with environmental and waste management activities, as appropriate. - Support EH&S staff in promoting a culture of safety, environmental compliance, and risk awareness across campus.
