Role and Responsibilities: - Respond to inbound calls for reservations, guest service questions, and appropriate transfers to other departments. - Handle guest queries and requests via phone, fax and email. - Relay written and verbal messages to appropriate people. - Get all the necessary information from the caller to ensure you are directing the call to the right place. - Provide accurate information concerning all aspects of the hotel including location, directions, amenities and facilities. - Tidy and maintain the switchboard area. - Update and maintain accurate records of all calls received and relayed. - Assistance may be required by other department and other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Front Office. - Assist Front desk as necessary Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years front desk, reservations experience in a Hotel or related industry; experience within a luxury hotel environment is a plus. Must have excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills and must be able to interact with all levels of guests in a professional and cordial manner.
