In this role, you’ll perform clinical testing, assist with exams and procedures, and help keep our busy ophthalmic clinics running smoothly. What you will do: Greet, room, and prepare patients for examinations. Obtain and document medical/surgical history, chief complaint, HPI, vital signs, medications, and allergies in the EHR. Perform comprehensive ophthalmic workups, including visual acuity, confrontation visual fields, pupil assessment, tonometry, keratometry, ocular motility, refraction, pachymetry, lensometry, glare testing, color plates, stereo testing, Amsler grid, and Schirmer testing.
