Job Description Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a civilian Specialty Tech- Otolaryngology at Nellis Air Force Base, in Las Vegas Nevada. Requirements: - Performs as “scrub” assistant to the surgeon in major and minor surgery and procedures of the ear, nose, and throat.• Occasionally performs as first surgical assistant rendering assistance to the surgeon.• Performs other such tasks as point of use cleaning for contaminated instruments.• Responsible for the care, identification, labeling, and delivery of specimens to pathology.• Checks operating room set-up for arrangement of supplies and instruments, rearranging as necessary.• Accomplishes routine safety checks and operator preventive maintenance on fixed and moveable medical e...
