Shipping Clerk - Day Shift

Job description

Job Summary The Shipping Clerk coordinates shipments, manages documentation, and ensures timely deliveries through effective communication with carriers and internal teams. Primary Duties: - Receive and process customer orders for shipment, including printing necessary documents and planning according to order priority. - Verify product availability, coordinate with inventory systems, and meticulously prepare items for packing to ensure accurate order fulfillment. - Coordinate with and update the customer service team on shipment status and promptly address any order changes or inquiries. - Package and label products as necessary to ensure they meet quality standards. - Navigate shipping processing systems and - applications, utilizing scanners to efficiently process and manage shipments. - Work closely with the outbound team to palletize and prepare larger orders for shipment, ensuring they are securely packed and labeled according to shipping requirements. - Keep workstation tidy and organized, regularly restocking supplies and maintaining dispensers to ensure continuous operational efficiency. - Ensure that proper paperwork and labels are kept with respective orders and not mixe...
