Corporate Counsel II What you will be doing: At Premier, we take pride in the business of serving patients by serving the healthcare providers who meet the needs of those patients, in every area of their care. As a group purchasing organization (GPO), we negotiate contracts for goods and services our members use daily, and we work hard to make sure our offerings to members are highly competitive. In this role reporting to the Associate General Counsel, you will be responsible for providing legal support and day-to-day contracting needs for your assigned business units, and various other transactional projects. This position serves as the primary point of contact for business clients and drafts, negotiates, reviews, and approves (within specified guidelines) GPO member and supplier agreements channel partner agreements, consulting agreements, confidentiality agreements and various other documents. Additional responsibilities may include conducting training sessions for business units on relevant legal matters, and counseling business teams on regulatory compliance with an emphasis on healthcare regulations.
