Temporary employees have no entitlement or expectation of continued employment during or beyond the appointment period. Position may average up to 29 hours per week. Classification Summary: Under the supervision of the New Mexico State University Fire Department (NMSU FD), the Emergency Medical Technician Basic (EMT-P) will perform duties associated with providing rescue services and emergency medical care to the sick and injured, on the NMSU Las Cruces campus, in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and NMSU FD's policies and medical protocols.
