Job Description & Responsibilities Persistent Systems is seeking a Director of Business Development to lead growth across Army and SOCOM portfolios. This role is responsible for identifying and establishing new customer relationships, managing high-revenue accounts, and implementing expansion strategies. You will ensure customers receive the best products and services by bridging the gap between technical capabilities and tactical needs. Position Responsibilities: - Identify potential new customers while managing and developing existing relationships within the Army (Multi-Compo) and SOCOM communities - Develop unique selling propositions and sales strategies to meet targets and expand the company’s global customer base - Partner with Engineering and Sales teams to identify new product opportunities based on customer feedback and tactical and operational unit requirements - Manage key accounts post-sale, ensuring customer satisfaction through tailored solutions and programmatic support - Create business proposals, lead initial negotiations, and close deals as part of a collaborative team - Identify, organize, and travel to industry events, trade shows, and operational units to stre...
