Surveyor – Laboratory Medical Technologist

Job description

Overview Nationwide Search – Selected candidate can be located anywhere in the United States. The Medical Technologist Surveyor conducts thorough evaluations of laboratory programs across the United States. Applies systems analysis skills and inductive reasoning skills to determine laboratory's degree of compliance with applicable standards-based issues in health care to assess compliance and to identify opportunities for improving compliance. Prepares management reports that clearly link individual standards deficiencies with potential systems vulnerabilities and related organization risk points. Effectively communicates this information in a constructive and collegial style. Participates in other Joint Commission activities as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications: Medical Technologist with Masters degree in a health-related field. Registered with nationally accredited organization. Certification requirement: You must hold a CPHQ certification (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) through National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) at time of hire or attain by 12/31/28.
