Allegheny Science & Technology (AST) is seeking a Project Manager to join our team supporting the Department of Energy. In this role, you will provide project management and technical engineering support for multiple electric power transmission projects, which encompass planning, preliminary designing, permitting, and constructing high-voltage infrastructure facilities. This includes providing guidance and assistance to monitoring project schedule, resources and offering technical expertise, facilitating coordination with WAPA and external stakeholders, and ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping throughout the project lifecycle. Duties & Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive Project Management and Owner's Engineer support for large-scale, multi-year electric transmission capital projects in various stages: development, construction, or closeout. - Perform owner’s engineer functions during active construction, including: - Technical submittal review and disposition recommendations for materials, shop drawings, and test reports. - Request for Information (RFI) triage and technical evaluation, including recommended responses and impact assessments. - Constructability rev...
