Burke - Packroom Laborer 2nd shift

Shift: 4:30pm – 2:30am Monday through Friday, +Weekends as Production Schedule Requires Pay Rate: $21.69 per hour + $1.00 shift differential All team members must abide by all of Burke's Plant Safety Rules! RESPONSIBILITIES: Performing repetitive tasks associated with the packaging of meat products Workstations include: Inspecting product quality, assembling boxes, filling bags with meat, sealing bags, weighing bags, and may have to palletize by hand. Assist with the coordination and running of a food processing line Ability to learn and perform multiple positions (Training will be provided) Work in temperatures 40–50 degrees and 32 degrees in the cooler Being able to operate an electric pallet jack (In-house training provided) Ability to work in an environment that is fast paced Being able to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to do repetitive tasks Standing, walking, pushing, lifting, bending, stepping up and down Operating food processing equipment Following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) Fill in for other plant positions as necessary (Additional pay provided for higher pay grade position) Basic Math skills Perform any and all duties as assigned by Supervisor QUALIFICATIONS: - 6 m...
