Job Description THE SELECTED CANDIDATE WILL BE OFFERED AN HOURLY RATE OF $19.50: The Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) protects and promotes the safety and well-being of children and families through child welfare and juvenile justice services and community supports. ACS manages community-based supports and foster care services and provides subsidized childcare vouchers. ACS child protection staff respond to allegations of child maltreatment. In juvenile justice, ACS oversees detention, placement, and programs for youth in the community. ACS' Division of Family Permanency Services (FPS) strives to ensure children and youth in foster care receive high-quality services designed to help them achieve permanency, remain safe while in care, and improve their overall well-being. FPS provides guidance on child welfare policies and procedures to foster care agencies, delivers technical assistance to strengthen providers' practice, coordinates and arranges for concrete services/resources, and provides direct case planning to children not placed with an agency.
