Description Job Title: Tutor: Location: Paradise Valley Country Club: Reports To: Youth Activities Manager: Position: On-Call: FLSA: Non-exempt: Job Summary: Our youth activities program seeks talented, experienced tutor in all subject areas for participants between grades levels K–12. Tutors will work with participants one-on-one and/or group setting. They will also be responsible for the general safety and development, growth, and skill achievement of the participants in his/her group. Essential Functions: - Help participants with homework and other school assignments with patience and expertise. - Ask participants about specific topics or subjects areas that are giving them trouble. - Communicate with parents/guardians about trouble areas or any other issue that requires attention. - Be responsible for maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of each program area used. - Know and understand ALL emergency procedures associated with the camp program. - Know, enforce, and follow all safety guidelines associated with all program areas.
