City : Sandston State : Virginia (US-VA) Country : United States (US) Requisition Number : 44933 A Day in the Life: Responsible for the management of all systems and activities involved in the receiving, storage, and shipping of products in the Bunge facility. What You'll Be Doing: - Cultivate a safety culture where unsafe acts are not tolerated and employees and management have a common goal of zero injuries. - Oversee assigned facility warehouse activities to ensure operations are running at the highest levels of efficiency. - Manage monthly sanitation inspections and lead, monitor and ensure corrective actions are completed as necessary. - Track and report facility productivity improvements. - Approve daily reports and KPRs for the department. - Assist the Plant Manager in planning annual shutdowns. - Work with the Safety/Environmental Manager to ensure compliance. - Responsible for developing and driving Operations Excellence Plans to help meet safety, quality and production goals and show continuous improvement throughout the facility. - Continually identifies and implements short- and long-term cost savings opportunities, in the areas of distribution and warehousing that do n...
