Position: Stationary Engineer III: Location: Christ Medical Center; Oak Lawn, IL. Registry/PRN - scheduled on-call, as needed, to help fill in for departmental gaps and needs. ~Primarily 1st shift hours, but must be able to cover all shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed Major Responsibilities: - Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures. - Operates all campus heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment including boilers, steam absorption and centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, fans, pumps and systems in a manner that optimizes efficiency, safety, and occupant comfort per department policies and procedures with minimal to no guidance/assistance. - Maintains accurate records and reports on all equipment startup, failures, problems, work in progress and completed work through logbooks and computerized maintenance management system...
