Our products enable the telecommunication industry transferring information between cities and continents, as well as kilowatt fiber lasers used in heavy manufacturing industries. Responsibilities: The Mechanical Engineering Intern’s responsibilities would include but not be limited to the following: - Work with engineers to design tooling and fixtures for fiber-optic components development, perform tolerance analysis. - Create detailed piece part and assembly drawings, specify dimensions, materials, and procedures. - Preform incoming inspection on received parts. - Assemble and test prototype component, tooling and equipment. - Document and ECO release of engineering reports, engineering drawings, bill of materials and equipment design specifications.
