Job description
onsemi is hiring a self-directed and self-driven Defect Applications Engineer in Hopewell Junction, NY, with primary responsibility to develop Defect inspection strategies and deploy inspection recipes to enable aggressive learning. This includes but is not limited to optimization of defect inspection recipes for better DOI (Defect of Interest) capture, improvement of throughput, tool utilization, manufacturability and overall cost of ownership. This role will drive technical projects to improve variability and overall yield. Requirements: onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $75,300-$120,400 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
