Job description

Responsible for the correct shipment of all orders to customers and subsidiaries. Responsible for accurate export and trade related documentations – errors in the documentation can result in enforcement actions and corporate fines. Responsible for the accuracy of incoming shipments i.e. part number, cost etc. and inventory accuracy. Confidential Information: Pricing, customer listing, material used Contact with Others: Internal – Supervisor level and below, Sales, Schedulers, Production, Finance, Trade Compliance External – Freight Forwarders, carriers, and drivers Errors: Errors in shipments can cause incorrect or incomplete shipments, or products shipped to the incorrect locations. Packaging errors can lead to damaged products and warranty returns. Errors in export and other trade related documentation can cause non-compliance with internal and governmental regulations and could lead to enforcement actions and corporate fines.
