Job Summary Assists with the local Red Kettle Campaign for an assigned location by manning a Christmas Kettle. Rings bell (where allowed by store management) to attract donors. Greets public in a courteous and friendly manner and expresses appreciation to donors. Essential Functions: This job description should not be interpreted as all inclusive. Monitors a Kettle at an assigned location; ensures that the kettle is never left unattended; ensures the security and accountability of kettle and funds with established operating procedures. Where allowed by management, rings a handheld bell in an acceptable manner as instructed to attract attention to the Kettle and to encourage donations. Greets the public in a courteous and friendly manner; expresses appreciation to donors. Distributes printed material or other items, only as instructed by supervisor.
