Description This is a full-time, permanent clinical position with an onsite/hybrid schedule. Travel to other sites within Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance—such as Columbia, Lawrenceburg, or Spring Hill—will be required when providing clinic coverage. Patient Care Coordinator will be closely working with a provider and taking on a variety of responsibilities to ensure a smooth and positive experience for both the provider and patients. Below, you'll find the key duties and responsibilities related to supporting your assigned provider. Responsibilities: Medical Assistant - Communicating effectively with patients, physicians, and other staff members in a professional and courteous manner. - Assist with removal of splints, sutures, and dressings as directed by physician. - Prepare and assist provider with procedures if needed such as aspirations and/or injections. - Updating patient’s chart under the direction of the provider during patient visits, recording detailed information into the electronic health records (EHR) system, including medical histories, physical examinations, and treatment plans while using medical terminology and abbreviations. - Entering E&M/CPT codes and submitting...
