SHEET FED PRESS FEEDER: 3rd Shift - 11pm-7am $21-$22.50 PLUS Shift Premium Job Summary: The Sheet Press Feeder is responsible for aiding the Press Operator in the operation of the press to ensure acceptable quality at maximum productivity. The feeder will ensure all product specifications are met, ensure paper is loaded, perform preventive maintenance on the press and accurately record production data on job tickets, load slips etc. Duties/Responsibilities: - Ensure paper is loaded, and all plates, stock, ink, and proofs for the next job are at the press before previous job is completed. - Empty waste ink, chemical containers, and soiled rag containers daily. - Monitor pH and conductivity of fountain solution on presses. - Ensure skids are properly marked for next operation prior to leaving the pressroom. - Ensure work produced exceeds quality guidelines. - Accurately record production data on job tickets, load slips etc. - Work with Press Operator to ensure preventive maintenance is performed each week. - Train to be a Press Operator to insure PTO coverage and Progression. - Perform other duties as assigned.
