Job Description The Opportunity: As an Operate Technician, you will be a valued member of the station at Hartlepool to ensure the daily operations run smoothly and offer the best performance possible. You will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation of a nuclear power plant in accordance with all licenses, regulating bodies, company business strategies and industry best practices. You will also be required to perform Emergency Scheme duties after completion of training to support for any emergency that should occur. Pay, Benefits and Culture: The salary range is between £44,121rising to a maximum of £55,574 upon successful completion of training for all 4 Plant Areas. Terms and conditions covered by the EDF Energy Nuclear Generation Company Agreement. Upon successful completion of your initial training which will be undertaken on days you will be eligible for shift pay. You will receive 28 days annual holiday plus bank holidays, incremental and competency-based progression and a Company pension scheme.
