Specialty Cashier - Full Time (Caesars New Orleans)

Job description

The Specialty Cashier services the Table Games and Slot Departments, front line chip, coin and JPH windows along with preparing the daily currency, coin, check and marker deposits. Operates assigned bank (marker, chip and satellite) according to procedure. Verifies and counts down bank at the end of each shift and reconciles to the Cage accountability. Assigns window banks to Casino Cashiers and assists in troubleshooting cashier variances or reconciliation. Ability to assist in training and development of cashiers in window bank or specialty bank functions. Handles window bank coverage when scheduling needs arise. Fosters team environment and takes a leadership role in departmental initiatives. Presents oneself as a credit to Caesars and encourages others to do the same. High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of one-year experience as a Casino Cashier working specialty banks or general cashiering background from another casino. Experience working with business machines and prior money handling experience is necessary. Computer skills required. Attention to detail and good organizational skills required.
