Job description

Audubon is currently seeking a Blaster / Coater / Painter I to join our team in our Offsite Office. The Blaster / Coater / Painter I performs painting on equipment, material, or structures. While being able to read blueprints and specifications for the job required. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Identify all tools required for tasks. - Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks. - Identify and mix paint and coatings as required and sand blast structures - Know the proper use and techniques (stroke types) required per the paint/coating used and the item being painted or coated. - Must be able to work at heights and off ladders and scaffolds safely. - Housekeeping/Cleanup work areas. - Read blueprints and specifications to determine the scope of work: locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required. - Must know how to spray paint, operate sandblasting equipment and fireproof applications Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities: - All employees are responsible for supporting Audubon Companies’ Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
