Job description

The Field Service Technician - BCP Equipment provides face-to-face customer service located at an off-site location and is responsible for minor to moderate troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning of various compact construction equipment. To be considered for the Field Service Technician role, the incumbent must have a valid driver's license, a safe driving history, and the ability to pass a DOT physical. Essential Functions: - Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards - Performs moderate repairs offsite with minimal supervision - Performs moderate troubleshooting and diagnosing of equipment malfunctions and failures utilizing CAT supported software - Removes and installs parts, disassembles and assembles basic components - Tests and verifies proper operation of all repairs - Prepares and completes all job-related documents, writes service reports, orders parts, and maintains clear customer records; in addition, accesses databases required to complete the job - Operates equipment and vehicles with possession of all necessary licenses and certificates - Maintains service...
