Position Summary The Academic Interventionist is a school-based position located at The Leah Chase School and is responsible for supporting student progress in literacy and numeracy. This position provides individual or small group instruction to identified students in need of additional academic support. The position is responsible for monitoring, reporting, and communicating student progress and performance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Uses specified evidence-based small group and/or individual instruction to identified students in the areas of reading, language arts and/or mathematics; - Attend training and support implementation in the appropriate model(s) implemented in the school; - Maintains accurate data-based documentation of continuous monitoring of student performance and progress; - Regularly provides data to school teams and teachers and participates in decisions abou...
