Job Description Location: 2300 Powell Avenue Erie, PA 16506 Direct Report: Tooling Supervisors: Purpose: Perform precision grinding operations to achieve tight tolerances, surface finishes, and dimensional accuracy on mold components. Responsibilities (including, but not limited to): Set up and operate surface, cylindrical, and/or jig grinders Interpret blueprints and work instructions: Maintain tight tolerances and surface finish requirements Inspect parts using precision measuring tools Maintain equipment and ensure safe operation Authorities (including, but not limited to): Stop production for quality or safety concerns Adjust machine offsets and setups within specifications Recommend process improvements: Primary Duties (including, but not limited to): Grind components to required tolerances Perform wheel dressing and machine setup Inspect parts using micrometers, indicators, and comparators Document inspection results: Maintain clean and organized work area Qualifications/Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years grinding experience or equivalent training Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with tight-tolerance work Knowledge of mold components: Posses...
