Compensation Amount: 20.50 USD Hourly Job Summary: The Marine Mechanic performs various marine maintenance and replacement tasks assigned by the manager. Job Description: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Take a methodical approach to diagnose all types of mechanical issues, perform routine maintenance, and ensure compliance for USCG inspections on our tour boats and rental fleet. - Complete courses and other trainings pertaining to the position. - Use a proactive approach to environmental stewardship and ensure all work is performed under the Florida Clean Marina Program guidelines. - Create work orders and ensure they are billed to the correct unit as assigned - Participate in daily meetings by phone or Teams with direct supervisor - All other duties as assigned SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS: - Must be able to repair Fiberglass and Aluminum hulls (welding) to USCG specs. - Must have knowledge of 12v electrical systems to effectively diagnose and repair issues.
