Job Description Summary Under general supervision, the Underwriting Assistant supports the municipal underwriting team at Raymond James Financial by coordinating, reviewing, and executing processes associated with competitive and negotiated municipal bond transactions. Responsibilities include reviewing preliminary official statements for accuracy and completeness, processing new issue pricings, and submitting regulatory filings. The role requires frequent interaction with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify, research, and resolve issues efficiently. The Underwriting Assistant also contributes to ongoing process improvements and enhancements to internal controls.
