Manager, Maintenance Operations (Onsite)

Job description

The Manager, Maintenance Operations will lead a team of maintenance technicians and engineers to support the business objectives of Insulet’s manufacturing plant located in Irvine, CA. This position will be the owner of the plant’s equipment and facility maintenance programs in addition to being an integral part of the plant’s management team and safety committee. Responsibilities:  Owns preventative and breakdown maintenance operations for production equipment such that performances meet or exceed baseline capabilities.  Develop and manage the plant’s maintenance strategy and budget. Focus on long-term planning, resource allocation, and performance metrics (OEE, MTBF, MTTR).  Ensure all facilities preventative maintenance(s) are scheduled. Is site point person for coordination with Insulet Facilities – Site contact for subcontractors, repairs, etc.  Helps set maintenance department goals, and manages a team of maintenance technicians and engineers including but not limited to setting daily priorities, establishing responsibilities, formal performance evaluations, professional development, ensuring production coverage during absence requests, set etc.  Manage EAM system, ensur...
